Carer Support Workers

Carer Support Workers offer information, advice and support to Carers across the County of Derbyshire on a wide range of issues to assist them in their caring role.

They provide assistance through individual telephone calls or home visits as well as Carer Support Groups. Volunteers generally organise and facilitate these Support Groups and Carer Support Workers regularly attend.

Carer Assessment Workers

Carer Assessment Workers complete Carers Assessments, access emergency cards, respite, grants, information and help to further support Carers in their role.

Carer Assessment Workers also advocate on the behalf of Carers via written communication and telephone contact to other agencies and empower and enable Carers in their roles, whilst building Carers’ confidence to cope in various situations.

To contact a worker in your area please visit our Contacts Page.
